Data Acquisition System
 Under
the sponsorship of the National Institutes of Health, ABLAZE personnel
have developed a unique long term biological data acquisition system for
use with ambulatory subjects. The system is microprocessor based and
collects biological data for periods up to one month.
Considerable evidence exists that analysis of biological data over
extended periods of time provides clinically significant information
important in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases.
Available ambulatory monitoring devices are adequate for 24-hour periods;
limitations are evident when longer periods are required.
